General Policies

  1. Prices are subject to change without notice.
  2. All orders will be invoiced at the price which is in effect on the date the order is received.
  3. All orders are shipped via UPS, parcel post or motor freight at Neogen’s discretion, in accordance with size and weight restrictions.
  4. Payment terms are net 30 days from the date of invoice.
  5. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be assessed on all past due invoices. All payments from an account will first be applied against outstanding service charges, if any, and then against outstanding invoices.

Lost/Damaged Merchandise

  1. Customers should thoroughly inspect shipments before accepting delivery.
  2. Damage or shortage must be reported promptly to carrier and to Neogen's Customer Service Dept. within 72 hours of receipt of order.
  3. In case of damaged or lost merchandise, have carrier agent make notation showing exact loss or damage on delivery account.

Warranty

If any products are defective, Neogen will provide a replacement product. Buyer assumes all risk and liability resulting from the use of the product. There is no warranty of merchantability of the product or of the fitness of the product for any purpose. Neogen will not be liable for any damages, including special or consequential damages, loss or expense arising directly or indirectly from the use of this product.

Returned Merchandise (other than listed under warranty)

NO RETURNS OF ANY MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION FROM NEOGEN’S CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY.

Customer’s return request must include item number and name of product, quantity, purchase order number, and invoice number. Also, the following conditions apply to returns:

  1. No more than 1% of the previous year’s purchases may be returned annually.
  2. Authorized returns must be sent transportation prepaid.
  3. Only saleable condition items to be considered for returns.
  4. Authorized returns must be separated and marked with proper item number before credit will be issued.
  5. Discontinued products cannot be returned for credit.
  6. Credit issued will be based on the purchase price at the time of the original purchase.
  7. A 20% restocking charge will be made on all products returned for reasons other than outlined under warranties.
  8. A 20% repackaging charge will be made on all products returned in outdated packaging.
